A new service offered by OPT. Our MediBus is a Girardin high floor MB-IV able to carry up to four wheelchair clients along with five ambulatory passengers. This vehicle is equipped with all the same medical supplies as our MediVan. You can book MediBus for all your requirements whether that is an outing, charter or for your medical transportation needs. MediBus can handle them all and can go anywhere you want! Since it is medically equipped and at a minimum, you have an Emergency First Responder as a Medical Attendant. Some government agencies may fully fund your medical transportation costs for non-emerge patient transfers. MediBus is just another in the great services provided by OPT as has been requested by our clients.

MEDIVAN

Our wheelchair accessible vehicles are available to all Health Care Facilities, LTC, Retirement Homes and the general public who require medical transportation for wheelchair clients. 

• All our staff are trained in customer service for clients with mobility disabilities
• Training in sensitivity and special needs
• Oxygen Therapy Trained
• All vehicles are equipped with oxygen and supplies
• Rear entry wheelchair accessible
• Power Inverters (AC/DC 12 Volt - 1500 watts)  
• Ability to load scooters and power wheelchairs forward facing (maximum 32x88x56)
• Carry up to 3 additional ambulatory passengers

NURSE ESCORTS

Our Nurse Escort Program provides bed to bed service for any patient requiring a nurse escort. We provide Nurse Escorts for facilities that require to keep their own staff in-house while patients attend treatments/diagnostics at other facilities.
