MediBus

A new service offered by OPT. Our MediBus is a Girardin high-floor MB-IV, able to carry up to four wheelchair clients along with nine ambulatory passengers. This vehicle is equipped with all the same medical supplies as our MediVan. Arrange for medical transfers to the medical facility you require or allow the infirmed or disabled access to special events. 

Since OPT's MediBus is medically equipped, you will have at minimum an Emergency First Responder as a medical attendant/driver.

Please Note: some organizations and agencies, including your insurance company, may fully fund your medical transportation costs for non-emergency patient transfers.

Feeling Charitable?

Shut-ins, the infirm or people with disabilities can take part in events throughout Ontario — and you can enable them. OPT is in touch with Long-term Care centres, homes for the disabled and social agencies. Your gift can mobilize a group of your choosing, or our General Manager, Phil Coburn, would be pleased to coordinate a group in need of a day's excursion.

From viewing Chistmas lights, attending church events, picnics, garden tours or community fairs – even leaf-peeping tours.
