Equipment

OPT uses some of the most up-to-date, technologically advanced equipment in the patient transfer industry.

For our transfers, we use Styker® stretchers, including the Power-Pro XT®, which we are able to employ for bariatric patient transfers, as it is capable of supporting up to 700lbs.

Our fleet of Ministry-approved ambulance vehicles are also equipped with oxygen tanks and other equipment in case a medical situation should arise during transfer. Our teams include two certified medical attendants and, where possible, a paramedic qualified to deliver advanced medical attention if required during transfer.

Our technological and communications equipment includes GPS units fitted into every vehicle, allowing for minute-to-minute monitoring by our central dispatch.
