Thanks again to Jeff and Dr. McKenzie for making the arrangements for me to be transported to Toronto General. All the nurses who cared for me in PRHC, the two ladies from OPT (a very smooth trip to Toronto). Debbie the travel nurse who went with me, was gracious enough to allow my wife to travel with me to Toronto General, and helped my wife to get me registered and the papers signed. Recently my father was transferred from Milton Hospital to Oakville General Hospital aand was in very much pain and needed to have a procedure done immediately to stop the pain. My family and I called called EMS but was told that since this was a non-emergency level that there would be a substantial wait time. It was suggested that we call OPT, BEST decision ever! The crew showed up within 30 minutes, they were kind and patient with my father. They assured him that he would be alright, the transfer was quick and painless. the paramedics were smiling and so pleasant the whole way.
